Every church has its niche, and ours is in keeping with our mission statement:  Sharing God's love by preaching, teaching, and reaching.

Preaching:  The work of Good Shepherd is Bible based, and as such, the church body is guided by scripture.  We believe that God still has something vital to say in our time, and that we need to hear it.  When we gather on Sunday morning or at Bible study, we do so to hear God's word, unchanging amidst the ravages of time, yet fresh and relevant for our struggles in our daily lives.

Teaching:   God's word always gives us something new to learn.  The Christian journey is not a static one, something you can learn and then master, or a school you can graduate from.  We believe that the Christian experience is a lifelong one, in which there is always more to learn, more to understand, and room to grow.

Reaching:  There are many out there who have been burned by churches in the past, people who feel jaded about the entire idea of church or worship, and people who don't feel as though church as much to offer them.  We at Good Shepherd assume that most people in Canada have at least heard of Jesus, but how many of them actually know him, and seek to know him better?  We are a mission-minded church, who are happy to see those who haven't been to church in a while, or at all.  Our services are as accessible as possible, and we pride ourselves on being one of the friendliest congregations in the world.
